Born in the Midwest, I have resided here most of my life. As a child, my family and I spent summers in Northern Wisconsin to escape the heat of central Iowa. As an adult, I was again drawn to the beauty and diversity of the landscape in this area. In 1985 I moved to Hayward, opened my studio, and have made this my home ever since. I live on 1.5 acres of land that is constantly in bloom throughout the summer. My gardens and yard provide a wonderful environment to live, work, and play in. When I am not in my studio, I can be found weeding, planting, harvesting, or just out enjoying the beauty of my surroundings.
